Finishing Touches is second to none. We have, in the last month, had a large utility room completely stripped and redesigned. From start to finish the design, preparation and installation was carefully and methodically completed with such professional attention to detail and finish and with our needs and preferences the priority. We are thrilled with the result. We have had work done in the past by Finishing Touches and they will always be our first choice in the future. They were recommended by friends and we have already recommended them to our neighbour.

We employed Finishing Touches to refurb an existing shower room after seeing what a great job they did for our neighbours. The service from Vince and his team throughout the process has been superb - regular communication, sensible suggestions and support in terms of confirming the design and sourcing materials, and polite, professional and tidy staff.

Vince and Evelyn provided a bespoke solution to meet the challenges of our space and the team took great care to ensure that there were practical and aesthically pleasing solutions to ensure that future access to pipes could be gained without damaging the new tiles etc.

The team were friendly and took great care of our property, cleaning up as they went. The finished bathroom is exactly, if not better than, what we wanted and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Finishing Touches to anyone, or indeed use them again for any building and plumbing work.

In May 2015, Finishing Touches undertook a significant building and construction project for us which saw two rooms become one kitchen diner and the back of the house opened up through the use of bifold doors.
Vince and Evelyn project managed the entire programme from concept to completion and did a truly outstanding job. The standard of workmanship and the level of innovative thought put into the process were excellent. This was both from Vince's own build team and also his subcontractors. Additionally, the care and thought put into working around us (we opted to stay at home during the process) was hugely appreciated.
The job came in on time and on budget which, along with the standard of finish, were key drivers for us. Vince and Evelyn worked respectfully to achieve these for us.
As a result we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Finishing Touches and we look forward to engaging their services again!

I can't recommend Vince and Evelyn highly enough. From the start of our house conversion to the final hanging of the curtains the job was done in the most professional manner. As we are living 300 miles away from the job we were relying on Vince to look after everything for us and to keep in touch with any detail changes. What a great Project Manager.

FT refurbished our Shower/Cloakroom in the summer. A great job at a reasonable price. Vince's contribution to the design/planning stage was much appreciated - helpful but always considerate to our wishes. The plumbing and tilework was especailly good and they worked hard long hours to get the job done when they encountered problems with our existing plumbing system.

This review is long overdue as my electrical work was carried out in November 2010 but better late than never!

Vince & Ev are a highly professional team who really care about their customers and you get the impression they talk shop in their 'home' time to find solutions to problems. Ev researched specific lighting requirements for me and Vince and Eric worked tirelessly to get the job finished promptly. They are polite & trustworthy and very tidy workers who clean up after themselves. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Vince and his team recently finished work on our main bathroom - very happy with the end result. It was our first renovation project so perhaps a checklist at the start might have helped us not forget any essentials! We are happy with the way our bathroom has turned out. Vince and his team have now completed two bathrooms and a major renovation of our ground floor. Hopefully the team will be back to work on our top floor! The team are all professional, reliable and easy to work with. They were willing to work around our teenager's sleeping patterns too!
Evelyn also gave some great advice about designs and colours etc. for our lounge. We can highly recommend the whole team.

Vince and his team have recently finished my wonderful new kitchen - to perfection! Their attention to detail is incredible and they spend an amazing amount of time getting everything just right. Vince had re-done two bathrooms for me previously and when I wanted to replace the kitchen I didn't think of going to anyone else. His team are all a pleasure to have in the house and Daniel even managed to win round my very nervous dog! This time I also had the pleasure of working with Evelyn, Vince's wife when planning the kitchen. She came up with some new ideas and spent a lot of time sourcing equipment etc., for me and I am delighted with the new layout.
I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Finishing Touches to any of my friends and look forward to having the next bathroom re-done in the future!

Found Vince and his team through Tom Brady. Tom did much of joinery work as did Daniel from Portugal. Eric from France was on plumbing and electrics. Stan sanded painted and made the place gleam after all the other guys had completed their work to the highest standard. Vince organised, coordinated, kept it all going smoothly and our little flat in Polwarth has been transformed from grottyness and neglect to a one bed luxury flat that we are delighted with. An enormous thanks to Vince and his excellent team. They fixed drains and neighbours dodgy plumbing and hardly even mentioned they had.They did it so they could get on with the job and for Vince and the team their is only one way and thats the right way. Excellent job, zero hassle, top class result. Use Vince and the team and be happy!

Thank goodness Vince was recommended to us. Not only did we have the perfect craftsman but he also brought along a professional team when refurbishing our bathroom. He helped us choose colours and combinations we might not have thought of and 3 years on we are still delighted with the outcome. Throughout, Vince and his team were helpful, caring and considerate and the workmanship was second to none. My cousin's husband (a master builder) declared he had not seen such professional work for a long time. If he had lived nearer to Staffordshire he said he would have head hunted him and his team.

I was highly impressed with the work Vince and his team at Finishing Touches provided in rennovating our bathroom. Vince was superb throughout the whole process, from advice with design, accurate quotations, and an excellent implementation. We were kept up to date of progress and Vince was dedicated to ensuring the work was carried out to time and budget (a rare combination in home improvement work).

Overall the quality of work was first rate and we were delighted with the result. I would recommend Vince and his team to anyone; it's very rare to find a craftsman with Vince's standards these days and his team a fully committed to the work undertaken.

Vince and his team helped to transform the bathroom in our morningside home into a very desirable room. It was an ackward shape and required careful planning and design to make the make the best of the space. I would recommend Vince and his team without any reservation. Their work is of the highest possible standard. All the team take good care not to make any unnecessary mess and clear up, they always remember that they are working in somebody's home.

Vince also gives excellent advice about design details and what equipment will do the job. He is also committed to help with sorting out any small problems that happen with equipment (e.g., toilet cistern) after completion.
